Roofer / Solar Roof Installer

Location: Newtowncunningham, Co. Donegal

About the role

As part of our installation team, you will prepare, repair and install roofing systems to support solar PV installations while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship and safety.

You will work on residential and commercial projects alongside our experienced solar installers and electricians.

Key responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain pitched and flat roofing systems.
• Prepare roofs for solar PV installations, including mounting systems and weatherproofing.
• Inspect roof structures to ensure they are suitable for renewable energy installations.
• Carry out flashing, sealing and waterproofing work.
• Work closely with our installation teams to deliver high-quality projects.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company and industry standards.

What we are looking for

• Proven roofing experience, with 2 to 3 years preferred.
• Experience working on pitched and flat roofs.
• A strong understanding of roofing materials and installation methods.
• The ability to work safely at heights.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• A full driving licence is desirable.

Experience installing solar PV systems is an advantage, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
