Bocan Creche: solar and a heat pump for a warmer, cheaper-to-run building
A solar PV and air to water heat pump retrofit for a childcare premises in Bocan, Co. Donegal, backed by SEAI supports.
The project
Bocan Creche needed lower running costs and a warmer building for the children and staff who use it every day. We fitted rooftop solar PV alongside an air to water heat pump, replacing older, more expensive heating with a system sized to a working childcare premises. SEAI supports were factored in and handled as part of the job.
